Costs
Cub scouts delivers great value for participants, especially when compared with the costs for other sports camps, art classes, clubs and other activities youth may be involved in. Better still, Pack 1 does two fundraisers per year – popcorn in the Fall and beef jerky in the Spring. If you and your scout participate in both, you’ll almost certainly raise enough to cover all costs listed below.
Membership
$145 per year

- The 12-month BSA registration fee is $145, which covers insurance costs and helps the council maintain scout camps and support the high-quality programs you expect from Scouting. We do fundraisers to help with the registration cost.
Uniform
varies
- Uniform costs vary. To save money, we recommend purchasing used uniforms. Scouts may also want a handbook for their age/den.
Pack
$40 per quarter
- Costs for activities and awards is $40 per quarter. This can easily be covered with fundraisers.
